The Arc Southern Chesapeake offers autism waiver services that help people build skills, manage behaviors, and gain independence.

Behavioral Support Services help adults with IDD live safely and confidently in their communities. These supports focus on building skills, preventing challenges, and promoting independence.

Day programs help adults learn new skills and explore activities they enjoy. Programs are personalized to promote independence, confidence, and community connection.

Our Tech Coaching Center curriculum teaches individuals how to utilize various forms of technology in their everyday lives, from work to travel, to money management, grocery shopping, and more.

From education and training to advocacy support, our Family Support Services provide compassion and guidance to families navigating “The Arc of a Lifetime” with a roadmap of resources available to their loved one.

We develop an Individual Plan for each individual’s unique goals. From assistance with shopping and meal preparation to medical support, our plan is intended to promote choice, flexibility, self-determination, inclusion, and personal satisfaction.

The Arc Southern Chesapeake provides safe, supportive housing that helps adults live independently and feel connected to their communities.

Transitioning Youth (TY) services help young people with disabilities prepare for life after high school through skill-building, planning, and real-world experiences. Services focus on employment readiness, independent living, self-advocacy, and community engagement.

We provide Vocational Support for people with IDD through various programs, including Supported Employment, DORS Services, and Pre-Employment Transition Services
