Make a lasting impact by joining The Arc Southern Chesapeake’s monthly giving program. Even a small recurring gift helps provide consistent support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, funding programs, services, and opportunities that improve daily lives.
Monthly giving is simple, flexible, and allows you to make a difference year-round, while knowing your support is helping build stronger, more inclusive communities.
Many people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) face challenges accessing dental care. Your gift can help The Arc Southern Chesapeake’s Dental Fund provide necessary dental services, treatments, and preventive care, ensuring every person we support can maintain a healthy smile.
6 out of 10 people with IDD are not getting the dental care they need due to cost $2,194: average cost of dental need per person supported.
Give a gift in honor of someone who inspires you or in memory of a loved one.
- Bequest: A percentage of your estate can be bequeathed to The Arc Southern Chesapeake.
- Real Estate & Assets: The deed and/or title of any real estate or asset can be transferred to The Arc Southern Chesapeake. Prior to transfer of assets, an appraisal, paid by the donor, will be reviewed by our board of directors.
- Stocks & Securities: The liquidation and transfer of proceeds from publicly traded stocks or bonds can be donated directly to The Arc Southern Chesapeake.
- Life Insurance: The Arc Southern Chesapeake can be named as the beneficiary to a life insurance policy.
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a centralized charitable account. It allows charitably inclined individuals, families, and businesses to make tax-deductible charitable donations of cash, publicly traded stock, and, in some cases, certain liquid assets to a public charity that sponsors a DAF program.
